Interns to assist Wipfli/HRH during tax season, gaining valuable real-world experience
Wipfli/Howe, Riley & Howe (Wipfli/HRH) welcomes Dalton Gyorda and Drew Merluzzi to the firm as interns. Gyorda and Merluzzi are assisting with both individual and business tax returns while gaining valuable, hands on experience during Wipfli/HRH’s busy tax season.
“We are glad to have both Dalton and Drew with the firm this tax season, assisting us during this busy time of year,” said Corey Stevens, business administrator at Wipfli/HRH. “The hands-on experience they will receive is truly invaluable as they will see first-hand what takes place at an accounting firm during the hustle and bustle of tax season.”
Gyorda received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance from the University of New Hampshire. He’s a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the NH Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Gyorda is a former member of the New England Patriots Drumline, in addition to several world class music performance ensembles that have taken him on various tours from coast-to-coast. He teaches at several high school band programs in support of music education and the arts.
Merluzzi received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Plymouth State University. She’s made Plymouth State University’s President List for five semesters and the Dean’s List for one semester.
Merluzzi’s volunteer experience includes advising and assisting with tax returns as part of Whole Village Family Resource Center’s Income Tax Assistance Program in Plymouth.
