Howe, Riley & Howe is pleased to welcome Renee Williams, Usha Gurumurthy, CPA, Jessica Laurent and Lori Gordon as new Associates.
With a variety of tax and accounting specialties, Williams, Gurumurthy, Laurent and Gordon will be integral members of the Howe, Riley & Howe team.

Renee Williams is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned her Master of Science in Accounting, and a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. Prior to her new role at Howe, Riley & Howe, Williams worked for her company, Balance Consulting, and for the Internal Revenue Service as a Tax Compliance Officer, where she conducted examinations, evaluations and audits.
Usha Gurumurthy, a Massachusetts-licensed CPA, is a graduate of the University of Phoenix, where she received a Master of Science in Accounting, and the University of Pune in India, where she received a Master of Business Administration with a major in Finance. Before accepting the position with Howe, Riley & Howe, Gurumurthy worked as a Tax Senior at Alexander Aronson Finning CPA’s, and at Schramek & Associates P.C. as a Tax Supervisor, where she provided tax services to high-level clients and supervised junior associates.
Jessica Laurent is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining Howe, Riley & Howe, Laurent worked at Nexcelom Bioscience, LLC as an Accounting Operations Specialist, and as a Staff Accountant and Auditor at a local accounting firm. In these positions, Laurent supervised a small team, performed audits and maintained budgets.
Lori Gordon is a graduate of both the University of New Hampshire, where she received her Master of Science in Accounting, and Ohio Dominican University, where she received her Master of Business Administration. Prior to joining Howe, Riley & Howe, Gordon worked for the United States Bankruptcy Court as a Case Management Supervisor and a Case Administrator. Within these positions, Gordon maintained budgets, prepared and analyzed reports and performed audits.
